Presented by: Patricia Anders | NYS Department of Health
Health care and public health preparedness has been integrated with core national response capabilities since 2002. Most people don't consider what they have learned from their own drills and exercises, but more importantly, real-life events, and how capabilities have been used to improve their facility’s response. In this session, we'll discuss response capabilities most relevant to past healthcare experiences including responding within the capability framework, how to document that valuable information in an After-Action Report and integrating Lessons Learned for planning the next drill and exercise to make it facility specific and pertinent to ensure ongoing safety for the staff and residents in the building.
Administrators, Executive Directors, Nursing Staff, and other Interdisciplinary Team Members.
